Having your website function at peak efficiency should not be a matter of "pulling teeth" with your web provider. Regardless of how flashy, expensive, or clever your site looks...what matters is that it functions EXACTLY the way you want it to function! If you have an eCommerce site, you want people to buy your products. If you have a site that request users information, you want them to send it to you. If you have a blog or forum, you want people to post messages.
var!ux focuses on making sites that work! Here are some happy customers and their sites:
WeBuyHousesKing.com
project: Lead Manager / Form Processing / Reduce Paperwork / Centralize Property Management
Hometown Real Estate Services, LLC was processing 30-40 emails per month through several forms on their site, using CGI-Scripts that were forwarded to their email. Once those emails were received, they had to keep track of the information on a homemade Excel Spreadsheet database. (layman's terms: their website was causing a lot of redundant work with lots of room for error). Furthermore, all of the leads were also going into an external database on another web server where Hometown was paying an additional $50/mo for the ability to automatically follow-up with the email leads. So var!ux came to the rescue!
1: we re-created their forms to make them simpler and keep spam bots from spamming the website
2: using PHP we created a completely dynamic, database driven administration area where all of the email leads, sellers, and past clients are kept in a secure area online.
3: we automated the process of following up with all of the contacts (auto-responders, broadcast emails, drip campaigns)
4: we automated the process of creating the paperwork necessary to purchase a home from a seller
results: “var!ux has focused on my business by listening to the problems I’m facing, examining my processes, and creating simply solutions to streamline my business. They are friendly, professional, and provide awesome service. The best part is, they can see 2 years down the road in my business and implement designs that will grow with my business!” Billy O. – Hometown Real Estate Services, LLC

CBAbasements.com
project: Website Design / Lead Generation / Basement Quote Calculator
Ray Buben is one of North West Atlanta's premier custom home builders, but he has a special niche in his ability to build custom basements that match or exemplify the theme of the home. The old website for Custom Building Associates was drab and cheap. Ray wanted something that showed the extreme detail and quality of his work and allowed potential customers to get a ballpark quote on having their basement customized.
Another where var!ux was able to add extra value was in lead generation. By harnessing the power of list building, CBAbasements.com is now able to send high quality images of their previous work only to highly interested site visitors, and thus build a list of warm leads.
result: "var!ux listened to my business plan, and designed a truly professional site that is reflective of what my company is all about"

ARSplanning.net
project: Website Design / Paypal Integration / Client Login/Management Area
ARSplanning.net was designed not only to give ARS Planning a web precense, but also to simplify the enormous amount of paperwork related to their financial planning process. Now rather than having their clients manually fill in forms when coming into the office, the clients can fill outforms online, in the privacy and comfort of their own homes while reducing the time and redundancy related to translating paper forms into the ARS Planning database.

To simplify seminar sign-ups and track response rates, Bell Business Solutions contracted var!ux to complete a simple web design for their business. Portions of the website were time specific and captured the information of leads, while giving basic information about Bell Business Solutions. Furthermore, but using var!ux's shared credit card processing gateway, they were able to accept credit cards without the lengthy approval process and stiff monthly fees of national credit processing vendors.

This site was designed by David for himself and his team of missionaries who went to Pakistan on September 11, 2007. The design and idea were completely original and created to reflect his fun-loving personality. This site consistently gets nearly 1000 visitors, even today, although it hasn't been updated since he returned to America in December 2007.
John created the code that runs the blog and the guest book. That was cool because while David was away, he could login and moderate the comments so spam comments wouldn't be posted.
result: Everybody loved the blog while we were gone and becuase of the quality of work, people started asking var!ux to do their websites.

Severe Hostile Takeover <<SHT>> Battlefield 2142 online gaming clan wanted to create a website where their members could communicate and have their own community without having to deal with the hassles of myspace or facebook. They wanted their own brand and image so they asked John to create this for them, but at a budget. John (aka melchizedeck) created this for the BF2142 clan and now the community continues to grow and is extremely popular among the BF 2142 community.
